Air Arabia Cabin Crew Position
Air Arabia seeks to recruit highly motivated and customer-oriented individuals for the position of Cabin Crew in Greece. This recruitment drive is specifically targeted towards candidates who can attend assessments in Athens.
Job Purpose
The Cabin Crew member will serve as an Air Arabia brand ambassador, consistently striving to cultivate customer loyalty and foster a positive corporate image. This role prioritizes exceptional customer service while ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout every stage of the flight. Success in this position requires readiness, adherence to company policies and procedures, and consistent productivity aligned with established performance measures.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct & Professionalism
The successful candidate will ensure punctual attendance, maintain a professional appearance, and uphold the highest standards of personal fitness and regulatory compliance. Attendance at pre-flight briefings is mandatory to receive flight details, understand assigned roles, and confirm security procedures.
Safety & Security
- Clearly instructing passengers on all safety procedures, prioritizing their safety and comfort at all times.
- Proactively identifying potential safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administering first aid as needed.
- Promptly reporting any irregularities or malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain as appropriate.
Customer Service
- Warmly welcoming passengers, assisting with boarding formalities, and accurately recording relevant data in the aircraft logbook following Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA guidelines.
- Providing consistently excellent customer service, addressing individual passenger pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identifying and assisting passengers experiencing distress or difficulties, adhering to company policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and other relevant instructions.
- Actively contributing to maximizing onboard revenue and participation in the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting onboard meals, products, and charitable services, thereby achieving individual and team targets.
- Ensuring accurate and secure handling of cash and credit card payments related to individual sales and donations.
Cross-Checking & Reporting
- Performing pre-flight checks to verify adequate supplies, emergency equipment, catering, and other necessary equipment; reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain as necessary.
- Assisting in ensuring thorough cabin cleaning at transit stations and confirming adequate re-catering and duty-free product supplies before each flight.
- Ensuring a smooth and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance personnel.
- Completing post-flight briefing and assessment reports according to established policies and procedures, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor's performance, reporting any flight issues or discrepancies, and securing duty-free containers.
- Accountability to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct; acting as Cabin Supervisor when designated by the Captain.
- Maintaining current professional and safety knowledge through participation in recurrent training, emergency procedure training, educational workshops, and license renewals.
- Contributing to team success by achieving assigned sales targets and objectives.
Essential Requirements
- Age: 20-33 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportionate to age and height
- Clear complexion, free from visible marks or tattoos while in uniform
- Excellent physical and medical fitness for Cabin Crew duties
- Ability to swim with a flotation device
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate (a diploma in Travel/Tourism is advantageous).
- First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures training (preferred).
- Excellent health, free from serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Prior experience as cabin crew or in a customer-facing role within the airline, aviation, or hospitality industries (valued).
- Active cabin crew license (advantageous).
- Adaptability to shift work and extended working hours.
- Flexibility in handling frequent changes and demanding schedules.
- Proven ability to contribute to the achievement of company policies, procedures, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
