Cabin Crew Member
Air Arabia is seeking a dedicated and professional Cabin Crew Member to represent the airline and enhance the customer experience. This individual will be responsible for ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle, while upholding a positive corporate image. This position requires candidates to be available for assessments in Athens, Greece.
Job Purpose:
The Cabin Crew Member acts as an ambassador for Air Arabia, striving to cultivate customer loyalty and promote a positive corporate image. They deliver exceptional customer service, prioritizing passenger safety and comfort during all phases of the flight. The role demands readiness and fitness for duty, ensuring productivity aligns with company standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct: Maintains timely attendance, proper grooming, and physical readiness for assigned flights. Attends pre-flight briefings to understand flight details, role assignments, security protocols, and boarding procedures.
- Safety Measures: Educates passengers on safety procedures, ensuring their security and well-being at all times. Identifies and reports potential safety and security risks to the Cabin Supervisor, taking corrective actions as per Standard Operating Procedures. Administers first aid to passengers when necessary. Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Customer Service: Greets passengers and assists with boarding procedures, accurately recording necessary data in the aircraft logbook. Provides outstanding service by addressing individual passenger needs and requests. Identifies and supports passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following established protocols. Contributes to on-board revenue and charity programs by effectively promoting meals, products, and charity services. Ensures the secure handling of cash and credit card payments received.
- Crosschecking and Reports: Performs pre-flight checks to confirm adequate supplies, emergency equipment, and catering; reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain. Helps maintain cabin cleanliness during transit and ensures adequate re-catering and duty-free supplies. Manages orderly handover/takeover of the cabin with catering, cleaning, and maintenance personnel. Provides post-flight briefings and assessments, evaluating cabin supervisor performance, reporting issues, and securing duty-free containers. Acts as a Cabin Supervisor when designated by the Captain. Maintains professional knowledge and safety competence through recurrent training, emergency procedure drills, and educational workshops. Contributes to team objectives, achieving sales targets.
Important Requirements:
- Age: 20 to 33 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportional to age and height
- Clear skin, free of visible marks or tattoos while in uniform
- Medically and physically fit to perform cabin crew duties
- Ability to swim with a flotation device
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate (Diploma in Travel/Tourism is a plus).
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an added advantage.
- Good general health with no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous cabin crew or customer service experience in the aviation or hospitality industries is advantageous.
- Active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Ability to work in shift patterns and for extended hours.
- Highly flexible and adaptable to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the capacity to contribute and deliver against company policies, procedures, and key performance indicators.
