Job Purpose

The Cabin Crew member serves as a key ambassador, striving to cultivate customer loyalty and consistently project a positive corporate image by enhancing the overall passenger experience. The role requires providing exceptional customer service to all passengers while rigorously ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. The Cabin Crew member must remain ready and fit to operate, maintaining productivity levels aligned with established metrics and company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensures punctual attendance, maintains impeccable grooming standards, and verifies personal fitness and regulatory compliance for assigned flights.
  • Attends pre-flight briefings to confirm understanding of flight details, role assignments, targets, security protocols, boarding procedures, and other essential information.
  • Instructs passengers on crucial safety procedures, guaranteeing their safety and comfort at all times.
  • Identifies potential safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Administers necessary first aid to passengers when required.
  • Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
  • Welcomes passengers and facilitates boarding procedures, entering necessary data into the aircraft log book according to established procedures.
  • Provides consistent, high-quality customer service by attending to passengers' pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
  • Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to the policies and procedures detailed in the Operations Manual and other relevant instructions.
  • Actively contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and participation in the "Charity Cloud" program through effective promotion of on-board meals, products, and charity services, thereby achieving individual and team sales targets.
  • Ensures the proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments processed for individual sales and donations.
  • Conducts pre-flight checks to verify adequate supplies, emergency equipment, catering provisions, and other specified equipment before take-off, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain as appropriate.
  • Assists in ensuring thorough cleaning of the aircraft cabin during transit and confirms sufficient re-catering and duty-free products are available before subsequent flights.
  • Ensures an orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin with catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff.
  • Carries out post-flight briefings and assessment reports according to established policies and procedures, providing objective feedback on the Cabin Supervisor, reporting flight problems or discrepancies, and ensuring proper closing and sealing of duty-free containers.
  • Reports on passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor and performs the duties of a 'Cabin Supervisor' when specifically designated by the Captain.
  • Maintains necessary professional knowledge and safety competency by attending recurrent training, emergency procedures training, educational workshops, and ensuring current licensure.
  • Contributes to team objectives by accomplishing related results and meeting allocated sales targets and objectives.

Requirements

  • Age: Between 20 and 33 years.
  • Minimum Height: 160 cm for females, 168 cm for males.
  • Weight: Must be in proportion to age and height.
  • Clear skin free from visible marks or tattoos when wearing the cabin crew uniform.
  • Medically and physically fit to perform all Cabin Crew duties.
  • Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.

Qualifications

  • A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable. A diploma in Travel/Tourism is considered advantageous.
  • Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is a valuable asset.
  • Must be fit to fly, possess good general health, and have no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English is essential.

Work Experience

  • Applications from fresh graduates are encouraged.
  • Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines/Aviation or Hospitality industries is considered an added value.
  • Holding an active cabin crew license is an advantage.
  • Capable of working flexible shift patterns and extended working hours.
  • Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and demanding schedules.
  • Proven ability to contribute effectively and successfully deliver against established policies, procedures, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
