An Air Arabia Cabin Crew member serves as an ambassador for the airline, striving to cultivate customer loyalty and promote a positive corporate image by enhancing the overall customer experience. He/She provides excellent customer service to all passengers while ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. The Cabin Crew member maintains readiness and fitness to operate, ensuring productivity aligns with established metrics and the company's adopted policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct: Ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legality for assigned flights. Attends briefings to acknowledge flight details, role assignments, targets, and security/boarding procedures.
- Safety Measures: Instructs passengers on safety procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort. Identifies safety and security risks, partnering with the Cabin Supervisor to take remedial action according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Administers first aid to passengers when necessary. Informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Customer Service: Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities, entering necessary data into the aircraft logbook as per Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures. Provides exceptional customer service by attending to individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs. Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following Operations Manual guidelines. Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, achieving individual and team targets. Ensures the proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received for sales and donations.
- Crosschecking and Reports: Conducts pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, and catering, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain. Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided. Ensures orderly handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff. Completes post-flight briefing and assessment reports, providing objective evaluation of the Cabin Supervisor and reporting any problems or discrepancies.
- Accounts to Cabin Supervisor for the conduct of passengers and carries out the duties of 'Cabin Supervisor' when designated by the Captain. Maintains necessary professional and safety knowledge by attending recurrent trainings, emergency procedures trainings, and educational workshops, ensuring a current license. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: 20 to 33 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportionate to age and height
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is a plus.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an added advantage.
- Fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Language: Fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines/Aviation/Hospitality Industries is an added advantage.
- An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capable of working in shift patterns and for extended hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute to and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
