Cabin Crew Member (Greece Recruitment Drive)

The Cabin Crew Member acts as an ambassador for Air Arabia, striving to cultivate customer loyalty and promote a positive corporate image by elevating the overall customer experience. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service to all passengers, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. The Cabin Crew Member must be prepared and fit to operate, maintaining productivity in accordance with established measures and the company's policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct: Ensures punctual attendance, appropriate grooming, fitness, and legal compliance for assigned flights. Attends briefings to acknowledge flight details, role assignments, targets, security protocols, and boarding procedures.
- Safety Measures: Instructs passengers on safety procedures to ensure their well-being and comfort. Identifies and reports safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions based on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Administers first aid to passengers when necessary. Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Customer Service: Welcomes passengers and facilitates boarding, entering required data into the aircraft logbook according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA protocols. Provides consistently excellent customer service by addressing individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs. Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following the Operations Manual and other relevant instructions. Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, achieving individual and team targets. Ensures the proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received for sales and donations.
- Crosschecking and Reports: Conducts pre-flight checks to verify adequate supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified items before takeoff. Reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain. Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided before flying. Ensures orderly handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff. Completes post-flight briefing and assessment reports as per policies and procedures, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, reporting any flight problems or discrepancies, and ensuring proper closing and sealing of duty-free containers. Accounts to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and performs the duties of 'Cabin Supervisor' when designated by the Captain. Maintains necessary professional and safety knowledge, attending recurrent training, emergency procedures training, and educational workshops to maintain a current license. Contributes to team success by achieving related results and meeting allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: 20 to 33 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportionate to age and height
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
- Ability to swim with a flotation device
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is preferred.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an advantage.
- Fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Language: Fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines/Aviation/Hospitality industries is an advantage.
- Active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capable of working in shifts and for extended hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
