Cabin Crew - Air Arabia
Air Arabia seeks a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join its team as a Cabin Crew Member. This role is essential in providing exceptional passenger experiences while upholding the highest standards of safety and comfort throughout the flight cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct: Ensure timely attendance, maintain professional grooming, uphold personal fitness, and adhere to legal requirements for assigned flights. Actively participate in pre-flight briefings to understand flight details, roles, targets, security procedures, boarding procedures, and other relevant information.
- Safety Measures: Instruct passengers on safety procedures, prioritizing their well-being at all times. Identify potential safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective measures according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Administer first aid to passengers when necessary. Promptly inform the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Customer Service: Warmly welcome passengers and assist with boarding formalities, accurately recording relevant data in the aircraft log book as per Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures. Provide exceptional customer service by attending to passenger pre-bookings, requests, and individual needs. Identify and support passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following established policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and other relevant instructions. Contribute to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charitable services, striving to achieve individual and team targets. Ensure proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received for individual sales and donations.
- Crosschecking and Reports: Conduct pre-flight checks to confirm sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other required equipment prior to take-off. Report any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain as appropriate. Assist in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided before departure. Ensure an orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff. Complete post-flight briefing and assessment reports according to adopted policies and procedures, objectively evaluating the Cabin Supervisor and reporting any flight problems or discrepancies. Securely close and seal duty-free containers. Account to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and assume the duties of 'Cabin Supervisor' when designated by the Captain. Maintain professional and safety knowledge and competitiveness by attending recurrent trainings, emergency procedures trainings, educational workshops, and by ensuring a current license.
- Teamwork: Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: Between 20 to 33 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportionate to age and height
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically/Physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable; a diploma in Travel/ Tourism is preferred.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an added value.
- Fit to fly, possessing good general health with no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in Written and Spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines/Aviation/ or hospitality industries is an advantage.
- An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capable of working in shift patterns and for extended working hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Proven ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
