A320 First Officer
Job Summary
An opportunity exists for a skilled and professional A320 First Officer to join our flight operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting assigned flights in strict accordance with the Company Operations Manual and all applicable GACA regulations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the ultimate safety, security, and efficiency of all flight operations. The First Officer supports the Captain, provides guidance to the crew, effectively manages emergencies, and maintains operational control to ensure exemplary performance and a positive corporate image. The primary duty is to operate the aircraft safely between destinations, adhering to schedules and flight plans while prioritizing safety, efficiency, and passenger comfort.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the A320 aircraft in accordance with all company policies and GACA regulatory standards.
- Ensure the highest levels of safety, security, and operational efficiency are maintained on every flight.
- Support and guide flight and cabin crew to foster a professional and collaborative environment.
- Effectively handle and respond to in-flight emergencies and non-standard operational scenarios.
- Assume responsibility for flight duties to ensure successful performance with a primary focus on safety, efficiency, and passenger comfort.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
- A minimum of 750 flying hours on the A320 family aircraft.
- A valid pilot's license with a valid Instrument Rating (IR).
- A valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- A valid ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) certification of Level 4 or above.
- Proficiency in aircraft systems, Microsoft Office suite, and internet search functions.
- Excellent command of the English language, including written and verbal communication skills for technical reports and presentations.
- Ability to successfully pass all company and GACA-mandated assessments, including technical, psychometric, and medical fitness evaluations.
- Maximum age of 50 years at the time of application.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- A valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
- Previous operational experience with a low-cost carrier (LCC).
- Formal qualifications or advanced training in safety and emergency response.
- Certification or training in Crew Resource Management (CRM).
- Knowledge of airport security procedures, regulations, and IATA security standards.
Important Note
Preference will be given to Saudi Nationals holding a current A320 type rating and a valid GACA license. Non-Saudi Nationals who meet all the specified requirements and are currently based in GCC countries will also be considered for this position.
