Senior Captain / Pilot in Command (A320 Family Fleet)

    Preference is extended to Saudi Nationals who possess a current A320 Type Rating and a valid General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) license. Non-Saudi Nationals who successfully meet all prerequisites and are currently situated within GCC countries are also strongly encouraged to apply.
The Role: Job Purpose
    The Captain, acting as Pilot in Command (PIC), is tasked with executing all assigned flight operations strictly in accordance with the detailed provisions of the Company Operational Manual and in full compliance with all prevailing GACA regulations. The role demands effective leadership, requiring the Captain to support and guide both flight and cabin crew, efficiently manage emergencies and unforeseen operational scenarios, and take decisive control over all facets of the flight to ensure successful performance and the maintenance of a positive corporate image.
    The Captain operates the aircraft between scheduled destinations following approved flight plans. The PIC bears full and ultimate responsibility for the aircraft during assigned flights, considering the following key operational factors in strict order of priority:

Essential Qualifications, Experience, and Requirements
    Prospective candidates must demonstrate a comprehensive history of professional aviation experience and must meet the stringent regulatory and company standards listed below:
- A minimum of 5,000 hours of total flying experience.
 
- A minimum of 2,000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) in a commercial jet aircraft.
 
- A minimum of 800 hours as PIC specifically on the A320 family fleet, and current on type.
 
- Possession of a current and valid GACA or ICAO Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
 
- Must hold a valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
 
- Must maintain a valid Instrument Rating (IR).
 
- Valid English Language Proficiency (ELP) certification, minimum requirement Level 4.
 
- Maximum age of 59 years at the time of application.
 
- Must successfully pass technical and psychometric assessments, as well as the comprehensive Medical Fitness Check for Pilots, in accordance with Company and GACA standards.
 
Highly Desirable Attributes and Training
- Preference will be accorded to trainers with Type Rating Examiner (TRE), Type Rating Instructor (TRI), or Line Training Captain (LTC) experience.
 
- Experience operating within a low-cost airline environment is highly desirable, though not strictly mandatory.
 
- Formal training in safety and emergency response procedures is essential; a formal qualification is a distinct advantage.
 
- Training pertaining to basic airport procedures, security protocols, and regulations is an advantage.
 
- Completion of Crew Resource Management (CRM) training is considered an advantage.
 
- Familiarity with IATA principles and standards relating to aviation security is an advantage.
 
- Must be highly proficient in Aircraft systems knowledge, adept in Microsoft Office applications, Internet/Web search capabilities, and skilled in technical report writing and professional presentations.
