Essential Role Requirements and Qualifications

Prospective B787 First Officers must meet the following stringent qualifications to be considered for this prestigious position:

• Valid ICAO Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
• Valid ICAO Jet Aircraft Type-Rating with a Command Instrument Rating.
• A minimum of 3,000 hours total flight time, including at least 500 hours on a commercial jet aircraft.
• 250+ hours Pilot in Command (PIC), OR 500+ hours Pilot Under Supervision (PUS), OR 180+ hours PIC/PUS combined with 70+ hours PIC.
• Minimum of 200 hours cross-country flight time, of which at least 100 hours must be PIC/PUS.
• A minimum of 75 hours instrument flight time.
• At least 100 hours night flight time.
• Valid ICAO Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 4 or higher.
