The Opportunity: Type Rated Captain, Airbus Fleet

AEGEAN is currently seeking highly qualified Type Rated Captains to join its modern Airbus Fleet. This pivotal role offers a permanent contract, providing a secure employment environment with a commitment to long-term stability. Mandatory Professional Requirements

Candidates must satisfy the following essential criteria to be considered for this Captain position:

Possession of a valid EASA ATPL(A) with a current Type Rating on an aircraft with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) exceeding 40 tonnes.
A minimum of 5,000 total flying hours accrued in Commercial Air Transport (CAT) operations on an aircraft with an MTOW above 40 tonnes.
Demonstration of one of the following specific command experiences:
- 2,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on aircraft with an MTOW above 40 tonnes; or
- 1,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on any AIRBUS Fly-by-Wire (FBW) aircraft.
Minimum ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 4.
A valid EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate.
Unrestricted legal right to live and work within the European Union (EU).
