About the Role
As a SAS Cabin Crew member, the successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering an outstanding inflight experience. This role requires a genuine service mindset, ensuring every passenger feels welcomed, safe, and valued throughout their journey. Collaborating closely with colleagues, Cabin Crew members uphold the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction on every flight, making each journey matter and every moment count.
Minimum Requirements
Prospective candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum age of 20 years.
- Height between 160 cm and 190 cm (without shoes).
- Completed high school education or an equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of two years of work experience; experience in hospitality, sales, or service industries is highly advantageous.
- Fluency in English, demonstrated by a Berlitz level B2 or gymnasium minimum B equivalent.
- Possession of strong swimming skills.
- Ability to comply strictly with SAS uniform regulations, including:
- No tattoos on the face.
- Tattoos with offensive or religious motives, and piercings, are not permitted according to SAS Uniform Policy.
- Tattoos on the hands or neck must not exceed one centimeter in size and are limited to a maximum of one.
- A valid EU passport permitting free travel worldwide.
- Eligibility to permanently live and work in Norway.
Security and Health Requirements
Employment is contingent upon meeting the following security and health standards:
- Successful completion of an approved security interview/background check to obtain airport access cards.
- Successful completion of a mandatory training course and compliance with all company requirements for Cabin Crew.
- Demonstrated good physical and mental health, including good vision (+/- 0.7 with or without corrections), enabling the candidate to obtain a health certificate in accordance with EASA Regulations.
- Successful completion of pre-course drug and alcohol tests (blood and urine samples), which must be taken before the start of the course.
- Provision of an exhaustive police certificate/clean record and approval by aviation authorities, as premises and work are located within a security-related airport area.

The selection process for this Cabin Crew position is structured as follows:

- Cabin Crew Training: Upon satisfying all requirements, candidates will commence a comprehensive four-week Cabin Crew training program, meticulously designed to prepare them fully for a rewarding career in the sky.
