easyJet Pilot Position
easyJet seeks highly motivated candidates for a pilot position.
Minimum Requirements:
- Licenses and Ratings: A Commercial Pilot License (CPL), Instrument Rating (IR), Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC), Multi-Engine (ME), and Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) are required. A type rating is not required, as comprehensive training will be provided.
- Licensing Authority: Applicants must hold a license issued by the UK Civil Aviation Authority (UK CAA).
- Medical Certification: A Class 1 medical certificate is mandatory.
- ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP): Level 4 is required.
Additional Eligibility Criteria:
- The successful candidate must possess the legal right to live and work unrestrictedly within the UK, with full access to the easyJet network.
- A maximum of five attempts at ATPL examinations is permitted.
- Completion of A-UPRT training is required.
- A standard APS MCC qualification is necessary.
- No more than 20 hours of remedial flight training are acceptable.
- Applicants who have attended an easyJet pilot assessment centre within the past six months are ineligible.
- A short, self-funded refresher training programme must be successfully completed. This programme encompasses eight hours of ground school, four hours in a cockpit mock-up, and three full-flight simulator sessions. Successful completion of this programme is a prerequisite for commencing A320 type rating training. The A320 type rating training is also self-funded. Further details will be provided during the assessment centre.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of both the refresher training and the A320 type rating.
Experience Considerations:
- For candidates with completed training but lacking operational experience: Pilot training completion must not predate December 31, 2021.
- For candidates currently operating aircraft under 10 tonnes Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW): There is no restriction on total flight hours.
- For candidates currently operating aircraft over 10 tonnes MTOW: A maximum of 500 hours on aircraft exceeding 10 tonnes MTOW is permitted.
The successful candidate will be offered a contract of employment upon fulfilling all stipulated requirements.
