Minimum Qualifications:
- Licensing: A valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with Instrument Rating (IR), Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC), Multi-Engine (ME), and Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) certification.
- Licensing Authority: The candidate's licenses must be issued by the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
- Medical Certification: A current and valid Class 1 medical certificate is required.
- ICAO English Language Proficiency: Minimum ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4.
- Right to Work: The candidate must have the unrestricted right to live and work in the United Kingdom, with unrestricted access across the easyJet network.
- ATPL Exam Attempts: A maximum of 5 ATPL exam resits are permitted.
- A-UPRT Training: Successful completion of Advanced Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (A-UPRT).
- APS MCC Qualification: The candidate must hold a normal standard Airline Pilot Standards (APS) Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) qualification.
- Remedial Flight Training: No more than 20 hours of remedial flight training may have been undertaken.
- Previous Assessment: The candidate must not have attended an easyJet Assessment Centre for a pilot role within the last 6 months.
Additional Information:
To standardize experience, successful candidates will complete a short refresher training program consisting of 8 hours of ground school, 4 hours in a cockpit mock-up, and 3 full-flight simulator sessions. Successful completion of this refresher training is mandatory to proceed to the A320 Type Rating. Both the refresher training and the A320 Type Rating will be self-funded. Details regarding costs will be provided during the Assessment Centre. The employment contract will be contingent upon the successful completion of both the refresher training and the A320 Type Rating.
Experience Requirements:
- No Operating Experience: Candidates with no prior operating experience must have completed their pilot training no earlier than December 31, 2021.
- Operating Aircraft Under 10 Tonnes MTOW: There is no restriction on the total hours for candidates currently operating aircraft with a Maximum Takeoff Weight (MTOW) under 10 tonnes.
- Operating Aircraft Over 10 Tonnes MTOW: Candidates currently operating aircraft with a Maximum Takeoff Weight (MTOW) over 10 tonnes must have no more than 500 hours of flight time in that category.
Important Notes:
- Type Rating: An existing A320 type rating is not required, as training will be provided.
- Visa Sponsorship: Visa sponsorship will not be provided.
- COVID-19 Vaccination: COVID-19 vaccination status is not specified as a requirement.
