Cabin Crew Planner - Wizz Air - Malta
Wizz Air, a leading European low-cost airline, is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Cabin Crew Planner. Based in Malta, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our growing fleet.
Purpose of the Position:
The Cabin Crew Planner is responsible for creating and managing crew rosters that align with the company's commercial program. This role requires meticulous planning, a keen understanding of safety and compliance regulations, and the ability to drive system and process improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain crew schedules based on the commercial flight program, adhering to duty time limitations and operational requirements.
- Optimize crew rosters to maximize productivity while ensuring adherence to safety and compliance standards.
- Oversee the availability of crew resources, ensuring adequate staffing levels and qualifications.
- Collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including Cabin and Flight Operations, Training Department, Human Resources, and Recruitment.
- Prioritize crew well-being and fatigue management.
- Track, monitor, and modify cockpit and cabin crew rosters as needed.
- Lead process and system improvement initiatives, with a focus on the HP bidding and Roster Preferences module.
- Maintain continuous communication with Training Department representatives and Crew Training Planning regarding rostering principles and training requirements.
- Award 100% of holiday entitlement on a yearly basis.
- Ensure full compliance with industry regulations, including duty and flight time limitations and Fatigue Risk Management protocols.
- Achieve a balanced distribution of work among available crews.
- Ensure equitable distribution of training duties among qualified trainers.
- Publish rosters in AIMS at least 14 days in advance.

- Knowledge of AIMS Crew and Ops systems and working rules regarding limitations and rest requirements is considered an advantage.
