Minimum Requirements:
- Total Flight Time: 2,500 hours
- Type Rating: Not required (training provided)
- Preferred Flight Time: 1,000 hours of flight time under Part 121 operations. Up to 500 hours of military flight time as pilot in command (PIC) of a multi-engine, turbine-powered, fixed-wing airplane can be applied towards the 1,000-hour requirement. Alternatively, PIC experience in operations under either § 135.243(a)(1) or § 91.1053(a)(2)(i), or a combination of these, will be considered.

Additional Requirements:
- Hold an FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.

- Prior experience with the Boeing 747-400 or other Boeing aircraft type ratings is highly desirable.
- A college degree in aviation or a related field is preferred.
