Western Global Airlines is seeking qualified candidates for pilot positions. The ideal applicant will possess a minimum of 2500 hours total flight time. While a specific type rating is not initially required, training will be provided. Preference will be given to candidates with 1000 hours of flight time under Part 121 operations. Up to 500 hours of military flight time as Pilot in Command (PIC) of a multiengine, turbine-powered, fixed-wing airplane may be considered towards the 1000-hour requirement, as well as PIC time in operations under either § 135.243(a)(1) or § 91.1053(a)(2)(i), or any combination thereof. An Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate issued by the FAA and a Class 1 medical certificate are mandatory. The candidate must hold an FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit, have no history of accidents or incidents, and possess a valid passport allowing unrestricted international travel. As this is a safety-sensitive role, applicants must be able to pass a DOT pre-employment drug test and 10-year background check. Previous B747-400 or Boeing aircraft type rating is desired, along with a college degree in Aviation or a related field. Please note that visa sponsorship is not provided.
