Key Responsibilities
- Execute all passenger safety and comfort duties in strict accordance with the approved Wasaya Airways Flight Attendant Manual and established company policies.
- Adhere to all instructions provided by the Captain during emergency situations.
- Deliver all required safety announcements and conduct demonstrations with precision.
- Plan, direct, and control in-flight services as necessary.
- Consistently maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions and conduct.
- Successfully complete all mandatory Flight Attendant training programs.
- Contribute to a positive and healthy work environment, fostering a supportive team climate.
- Uphold and deliver on Wasaya’s Customer Care Commitments to all internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A Grade 12 diploma or equivalent educational attainment is mandatory.
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service skills.
- Ability to travel freely within Canada.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain an Airport Security Pass.
- A professional and impeccable personal appearance.
- Reliable transportation to and from the airport.
- Proficiency in using computers, with MS-Office skills and internet/email capabilities being preferable.
- Capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
Desirable Assets
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field.
- Previous experience as a Flight Attendant.
- Prior experience within the airline industry.
- Fluency in Oji-Cree or Ojibway.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
- Familiarity with or knowledge of First Nations Organizations.
Working Conditions
- Frequent travel is a requirement of this role.
- Overtime may be necessary as per operational demands.
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings is essential.
