Role Summary

As a Flight Attendant at Air North, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and comfort of our passengers and crew. This is more than a career; it is a lifestyle encompassing early mornings, late nights, and overnight charters. Your primary responsibility is to uphold safety standards, enforce operating procedures, and comply with all regulatory requirements. You will be proficient in operating emergency equipment, providing exceptional customer service, and managing challenging situations with utmost professionalism.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform required work duties in an aircraft environment.
  • Demonstrate and announce safety briefings to passengers.
  • Respond to and communicate onboard information to passengers.
  • Conduct all interactions in a positive, customer-service focused approach.
  • Guide or direct passengers during emergency situations to minimize impact and protect all individuals.
  • Ensure passengers' comfort and safety at all times.

Required Qualifications

  • Grade 12 High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Canadian citizen or Permit Resident.
  • Minimum 19 years of age.
  • Ability to pass a reach test of 210 cm from flat foot.
  • Possession and retention of a valid Passport, with the ability to fly into the United States.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service.
  • A strong sense of accountability, honesty, and responsibility.
  • Enthusiasm for contributing to our unique mission.
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada.

Conditions of Employment

  • Participation in a comprehensive 4-week Air North training program.
  • Willingness to relocate to Whitehorse, Yukon.
  • Availability for shifts scheduled 7 days a week, including weekends, evenings, early mornings, and holidays, with a flexible schedule to accommodate the dynamic aviation industry.

Note: Positions are exclusively in Whitehorse. Selected candidates are responsible for their own relocation; relocation and training expenses are not compensated.
