Seeking Pilot in Command of Company aircraft for the transportation of Werner Enterprises employees, subsidiaries, and customers under FAR Part 91.

Act as Pilot in Command of flights for which pilot has been scheduled

Provide excellent customer service to passengers

Review weather conditions and NOTAM's at the destination, en-route, alternate and departure airports
-
Prepare and/or review flight plans to ensure optimal safety, performance, efficiency, and comfort of passengers

Review and calculate aircraft weight and balance, fuel on-board and performance charts
-
Utilize checklists and Standard Operating Procedures
-
Ensure aircraft is clean and prepared for flight with all provisions on board for the comfort and safety of passengers
-
Make decisions necessary to start, delay, or cancel flights and deviate from the planned route or destination when operating conditions dictate

Complete required operations documentations (log sheets)

Communicate to Chief of Maintenance on any maintenance related items

Provide safe and efficient operation of the company aircraft. Reviews load weights, fuel supply, weather conditions, and flight route and schedule.

Ensuring that high levels of customer service are provided to the company and its customers

Orders changes in fuel supply, route, or schedule to ensure safety of flight.

Coordinating the functioning of all crewmembers assigned to the flight.

Complying with schedules and other directives governing the aircraft’s operation.

Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Knowledge and background in corporate aviation, Part 91 Flight operations

Good time management skills.

Knowledge of general airplane maintenance and operation of aircraft that pilot is type rated.

Adhere to the regulations and procedures prescribed by the federal government, company, and TSA
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
-
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Airline Transport pilot’s certificate issued by the Federal Aviation Administration
-
Current First Class Medical
-
Five to seven years turbine power airplane experience preferred.
-
Corporate Flight Department prior experience preferred.
-
Dassault Falcon 900EX EASy type rating preferred.
