Challenger 604 Pilot in Command (PIC)

Waltzing Matilda Aviation (WMA) is seeking a Full-Time Pilot in Command (PIC) for its Challenger 604 aircraft operating under FAR Part 135, based at Hanscom AFB (Bedford, MA).

About the Role

The Challenger 604 PIC will be responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft and other assigned duties related to flight operations under FAR Part 135 regulations. This position reports to the Chief Pilot and has no direct reports.

Requirements

CL-604 Type Rating
Minimum age of 23 years
High school diploma or GED
FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Multi-Engine Land Rating
Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
FCC Radiotelephone Operator's Permit
Ability to pass a 10-year background check and FAA Drug and Alcohol Program testing
Legal authorization to work in and travel in/out of the United States without restriction
Part 135 experience
Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds

Flight Time Requirements

Minimum of 3,000 hours of total documented flight time
Minimum 500 hours of turbine time
Minimum 250 hours of PIC time in the CL-604
Current instrument proficiency check, line check, and route check

Consideration for flight time evaluation will include the quality, quantity, recency, and verifiability of training; the complexity of aircraft flown; types of flight operations; and hours flown as PIC in turbine-powered aircraft.
