Job Title: Crew Rostering Specialist

Purpose of the Role

The Crew Rostering Specialist is responsible for planning and managing crew rosters to ensure the company operates its commercial program efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with aviation regulations. This role focuses on driving process improvements and system optimization while prioritizing the wellbeing of the crew.

Responsibilities

  • Develop crew schedules aligned with the commercial program and established duty time limitations.
  • Optimize rosters to maximize crew productivity while maintaining strict adherence to safety and compliance standards.
  • Oversee crew resource availability to ensure operational resilience, program coverage, and achievement of targeted utilization levels.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with Cabin and Flight Operations, Training, Human Resources, and Recruitment departments.
  • Manage roster fatigue and ensure the wellbeing of over 900 crew members.
  • Monitor, track, and modify cockpit and cabin crew rosters as necessary.
  • Lead process and system enhancements, including oversight of the HP bidding and Roster Preferences modules.
  • Coordinate with the Training Department and Crew Training Planning to ensure rostering principles align with ongoing training requirements.
  • Ensure organizational compliance with industry regulations, including flight time limitations and Fatigue Risk Management.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
  • 1 to 3+ years of professional work experience.
  • Knowledge of AIMS, Jeppesen, and CAE Crew and Ops systems is considered an advantage.
  • Understanding of Working Rules Limitations and Rest Requirements is considered an advantage.
