Role Overview

The Crew Scheduler is responsible for planning and managing crew rosters to ensure the company operates its commercial program efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with aviation regulations. The role focuses on driving system and process improvements while maintaining a strong commitment to the wellbeing of crew members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop crew schedules based on the commercial program and duty time limitations.
  • Optimize crew rosters to maximize productivity while adhering strictly to safety and compliance standards.
  • Oversee crew resource availability to ensure operational resilience, program coverage, and targeted utilization levels.
  • Facilitate cross-functional cooperation with Cabin and Flight Operations, Training, Human Resources, and Recruitment departments.
  • Manage roster fatigue and the wellbeing of over 900 crew members.
  • Track, monitor, and modify cockpit and cabin crew rosters as necessary.
  • Lead process and system improvements, including oversight of the HP bidding and Roster Preferences modules.
  • Collaborate with the Training Department and Crew Training Planning to align rostering principles with training requirements.
  • Ensure total compliance with industry regulations, including flight time limitations and Fatigue Risk Management.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
  • Experience: 1-3+ years of overall work experience.
  • Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of AIMS, Jeppesen, and CAE Crew and Ops systems, alongside an understanding of Working Rules Limitations and Rest Requirements, is considered an advantage.
  • Languages: Fluent English (written and spoken).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
