An aviation company in Budapest, Hungary, is seeking a dedicated Crew Planning Specialist to strategically plan and manage crew rosters. This pivotal role ensures the efficient, safe, and compliant operation of commercial programs, with a strong focus on optimising crew productivity, driving system enhancements, and safeguarding the well-being of over 900 cockpit and cabin crew members.
About the Role

Build and manage crew schedules based on the commercial program and duty time limitations.

Optimise crew rosters to ensure the highest crew productivity while adhering to safety and compliance requirements.

Provide oversight of available crew resources to ensure program coverage, operational resilience, and targeted crew utilisation levels.

Foster cross-functional cooperation with various stakeholders, including Cabin and Flight Operations, the Training Department, Human Resources, and Recruitment.

Take responsibility for roster fatigue and the overall wellbeing of over 900 crew members.

Track, monitor, and modify cockpit and cabin crew rosters as needed.

Lead process and system improvements, including oversight of the HP bidding and Roster Preferences module.

Continuously cooperate with the Training Department and Crew Training Planning to align rostering principles with training requirements.

Ensure strict compliance with industry regulations, including duty and flight time limitations and Fatigue Risk Management principles.
Requirements

Experience:
1-3+ years of overall work experience, ideally within an aviation rostering or crew planning environment.

Hard Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities are essential for this Crew Planning Specialist role.

Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Qualifications

Education:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.

Advantageous Knowledge:
Familiarity with AIMS, Jeppesen, and CAE Crew and Ops systems, alongside an understanding of Working Rules Limitations and Rest Requirements, will be considered a significant advantage.
