Cabin Crew Planner - Wizz Air
Wizz Air, a leading European low-cost airline, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cabin Crew Planner, based in Malta.
Purpose of the Position:
The Cabin Crew Planner is responsible for planning and managing crew rosters to ensure efficient and safe airline operations while adhering to all relevant regulations. This role will involve:
- Developing crew schedules: Building and optimizing crew rosters based on the commercial program and applicable duty time limitations.
- Optimizing crew productivity: Maximizing crew efficiency while maintaining adherence to safety and compliance requirements.
- Resource management: Overseeing crew resources to ensure program coverage, operational resilience, and targeted crew utilization levels. Collaborating with various stakeholders across the organization, including Cabin and Flight Operations, Training Department, Human Resources, and Recruitment.
- Crew fatigue and wellbeing: Prioritizing crew well-being by considering roster fatigue and implementing measures to ensure their safety and health.
- Roster management: Tracking, monitoring, and modifying cockpit and cabin crew rosters to meet operational needs.
- Process improvement: Taking initiative to drive system and process improvements, with a focus on the HP bidding and Roster Preferences module.
- Collaboration with Training Department: Working closely with the Training Department to align rostering principles with training requirements and ensure the proper allocation of training duties.
- Holiday allocation: Ensuring the timely allocation of 100% of holiday entitlements to crew members.
- Compliance: Maintaining strict adherence to industry regulations concerning duty and flight time limitations, fatigue risk management, and other relevant requirements.
- Balanced workload: Achieving a balanced distribution of work amongst available crews, considering individual needs and qualifications.
- Roster publication: Publishing rosters in AIMS at least 14 days in advance of the schedule.

- Completed university or college degree
- Knowledge of AIMS Crew and Ops system and familiarity with Working Rules Limitations and Rest Requirements are considered advantageous
