About the Role:
This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic and supportive team, focusing on short-haul flights originating from Perth. While the typical cabin crew lifestyle involves extended periods away from home, our Perth-based team enjoys the benefit of returning home on most shifts, with only occasional overnight stays required.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist passengers upon boarding and disembarking.
- Deliver comprehensive and clear safety briefings, ensuring all passengers comply with safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all passengers, including those with special needs.
- Create a fun and enjoyable flying experience for unaccompanied minors.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment, forging new connections daily.
- Maintain composure and professionalism in challenging situations, including weather delays, emergencies, and other unexpected events.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Demonstrated experience in customer service or hospitality roles, including previous experience in caring for individuals.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain composure in stressful situations.
- Passion for providing outstanding customer experiences.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
- Minimum 3 years of previous employment (part-time or full-time) in customer-focused roles.
- Valid passport with at least 18 months remaining.
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
- Current Australian First Aid and CPR certificate.
- Availability to work a 24/7 rotating roster, including early starts, late finishes, weekends, public holidays, and peak periods.
- Ability to reach a height of 180cm.
