Role Description: Cabin Crew Culture Manager

The Cabin Crew Culture Manager will serve as the vital force behind Virgin Australia's Customer Service and Cabin Crew operations. This role is instrumental in cultivating a high-performance culture and inspiring teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences at every touchpoint. The Manager will mentor a team of leaders, champion employee engagement, and instill a customer-centric mindset while rigorously upholding safety and compliance standards in alignment with Virgin Australia's Safety Management System.

Key responsibilities include driving operational excellence through the execution of the people strategy, nurturing robust stakeholder relationships, and establishing an open and transparent environment conducive to feedback. The primary objective is to lead an engaging service culture that empowers employees to consistently achieve service excellence and ensure every journey is memorable for passengers.

This position is a 12-month maximum term opportunity.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Possesses experience in an operational leadership role within a dynamic and high-pressure environment.
  • Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of operations and resource management principles.
  • Exhibits sound knowledge of Safety and Emergency Procedures (SEP), service protocols, and guest care.
  • Proven ability to influence and engage senior business leaders.
  • Exercises emotional intelligence, with the capacity to interpret, monitor, and understand behaviours to drive positive outcomes.
  • Capable of fostering positive customer outcomes through leadership of a large and diverse workforce.
