Airnorth is seeking an experienced and motivated Cabin Crew Supervisor to join its Inflight Services team. The Cabin Crew Supervisor will collaborate closely with the Manager Inflight Services, playing a vital role in leading, mentoring, and supporting Cabin Crew members. Responsibilities include contributing to operational performance, upholding service standards, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This role presents a significant opportunity for an experienced cabin crew professional aspiring to advance into a leadership capacity within a dynamic regional airline.
About the Role
The Cabin Crew Supervisor provides leadership and administrative support to the Cabin Crew team while undertaking operational flying duties. This role requires close collaboration with various operational departments to uphold stringent safety, service, and compliance standards. The position involves a blend of line flying, ground-based leadership, and administrative tasks. Flexibility in working hours may be necessary to accommodate operational and training requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Support

Mentor, supervise, and support Cabin Crew members.

Assist with recruitment, induction, promotion, and development activities.

Foster a positive team culture aligned with Airnorth values and expectations.

Conduct performance discussions and support staff development.
Operational Oversight
-
Monitor cabin crew line operations and provide feedback to enhance performance and service delivery.

Ensure all operations are conducted in a safe, secure, and compliant manner.

Assist Network Operations with crew roster changes and operational issue resolution.

Support the maintenance of uniform and grooming standards.
Service & Standards

Develop and maintain inflight service standards and procedures.

Identify opportunities to improve customer experience, service delivery, and operational efficiency.

Liaise with catering and service providers to resolve product or service-related issues.
Compliance & Administration
-
Maintain awareness of regulatory and industrial requirements impacting cabin crew operations.

Assist with policy development, manual updates, and operational procedure refinement.

Complete cabin crew administrative tasks, including record management, travel arrangements, payroll support, purchase orders, and reporting.

Contribute to risk management, safety initiatives, and operational reporting.
Candidate Profile
Essential Requirements

Previous experience as cabin crew.

Experience in customer service and/or airline operations.

Experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity.

Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to motivate and support staff within a dynamic operational environment.

Proficient organizational skills with the capacity to plan and prioritize tasks.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Ability to obtain and maintain:

Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
-
Operational cabin crew requirements, including RSA, First Aid, and Passport.
Desirable Criteria

Experience contributing to the development of policies, procedures, and operational documentation.

Knowledge of performance management and operational KPIs.

Ability to obtain CASA CAO 20.11 Instructor and Certification approval.
