Key Responsibilities
The Cabin Crew member plays a pivotal role in upholding Virgin Australia's reputation for outstanding service and safety. Core duties include:
- Warmly welcoming and farewelling guests onboard the aircraft.
- Delivering comprehensive safety briefings and ensuring strict adherence to all aviation safety procedures.
- Providing exemplary inflight service, anticipating guest needs, and responding proactively to ensure a comfortable journey.
- Offering dedicated assistance to guests requiring special attention, including those with special needs and unaccompanied minors, ensuring their journey is safe and enjoyable.
- Operating effectively as an integral part of a collaborative cabin crew team, contributing to a positive working environment.
- Demonstrating composure and confidence in managing unforeseen circumstances, such as weather delays or emergencies, to ensure guest reassurance.

Essential Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for this role:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Possession of Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency is mandatory.
- A minimum of three years of prior employment in full-time or part-time roles focused on caring for people or customers is required.
- A valid passport with at least 18 months of remaining validity is essential.
- Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
- Possess a current Australian First Aid and CPR certificate.
- Ability to commit to a 24/7 rotating roster, including early starts, late finishes, weekends, public holidays, and peak periods.
- Comfortable being in proximity to cats and dogs, which may travel onboard from time to time.
- Capable of reaching a height of 180cm.
