Cabin Crew Job Description

Vietjet invites applications for the role of Cabin Crew. This position is central to delivering exceptional service and ensuring passenger well-being in an airline environment. The Cabin Crew is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of safety and security for all passengers and crew members during flight operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety and security of all passengers throughout the flight journey.
  • Execute all standard duties and provide professional services onboard the aircraft.
  • Utilize first aid knowledge to provide assistance to passengers as required.
  • Undertake additional assigned tasks pertinent to cabin operations.

Essential Requirements:

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Education: Possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Age: Be between 18 and 28 years old at the time of application.
  • Height and Body Mass Index (BMI):
    • Female candidates: Minimum height of 160cm (barefoot) with a BMI between 18.5 and 22.
    • Male candidates: Minimum height of 170cm (barefoot) with a BMI between 20 and 24.
  • Language Proficiency: Demonstrate excellent verbal and written English communication skills, evidenced by a TOEIC score of 500 or equivalent (IELTS/TOEFL or Bachelor's Degree in English).
  • Skills: Exhibit strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Medical Fitness: Be certified as medically fit to perform the duties of a Cabin Crew member.
  • Appearance: Have no visible tattoos or scars when wearing the Vietjet Cabin Crew uniform. Covering tattoos or scars with make-up or plasters is not permitted.
  • Dental: Dental braces are not permitted during the recruitment process and training.
  • Training Commitment: Successful candidates who clear all interview rounds and are selected by Vietjet must agree to initial training terms, including training bond and fee agreements.

Recruitment Process Overview:

The selection process typically involves multiple stages designed to assess candidate suitability for the role. This rigorous process may include:

  1. Document verification.
  2. Automated grooming assessment.
  3. Physical checks including height and BMI measurement.
  4. Catwalk assessment and automated interview.
  5. Group talent evaluation.
  6. Panel interview.

Assessment Day Dress Code:

Candidates attending the assessment should adhere to the specified dress code to maintain a professional appearance:

  • Female Candidates: Black knee-length skirt, white short-sleeve shirt, black closed-toe shoes, and full professional make-up.
  • Male Candidates: Trousers, white short-sleeve shirt, and black closed-toe shoes.

Unprofessional attire such as jeans, sandals, sneakers, or espadrilles is not acceptable for the assessment.
