VietJet Air | A320 First Officer

Vietjet Air is seeking experienced First Officers to join their A320/A321 fleet, operating from bases in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, and Cam Ranh, Vietnam. This role involves ensuring safe and efficient flight operations in a dynamic, low-cost carrier environment.

About the Role

As a First Officer with Vietjet Air, the incumbent will be responsible for a range of duties critical to flight operations. This includes meticulous flight planning, conducting thorough pre-flight checks, and maintaining clear communication with air traffic control. The role demands keen observation of weather and air traffic, readiness to adapt flight plans as necessary, and effective collaboration with crew members to ensure passenger safety and regulatory compliance. Filing comprehensive flight and aircraft status reports is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

• Minimum 2,000 hours total flight time (1,500 hours for A320F operations).
• Valid ATPL license with a current A320/A321 type rating.
• Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• Valid Instrument Rating and Aircraft Rating.
• Certificate of Upset Recovery Training in a Full Flight Simulator.
• Evidence of last flight on A320/A321 within 6 months during the licensing period.
• ICAO English Level 4 or higher.
• Letter of authentication from the Civil Aviation Authority of the CPL/ATPL country of origin.
• Recommendation Letter or Release Letter from previous airlines.
• Criminal Record check within 6 months (notarized by Vietnam embassy).
• No history of accidents or incidents within the past 5 years.
• Submission of the last 5 pages of the logbook.
• Passport with a minimum of 1-year validity.
• Maximum age of 60 for male candidates and 55 for female candidates.
• Completed flight training history survey.
