Candidate Requirements
All candidates must meet the following criteria at the time of application:

Unrestricted EASA ATPL (A).

EASA ATPL(A), CPL(A), or MPL (non-Scandinavian EASA licenses must be converted prior to course start).

Valid Class 1 Medical and valid Instrument Rating.

ICAO English Level 5 or 6.
-
Unrestricted right to live and work in the EU.

Clean criminal record.
Flight Time Requirements
Candidates must meet one of the following experience profiles:

4,000 total flight hours, including 250 hours as PIC or PICUS; OR
-
3,500 total flight hours, including 500 hours as PIC on aircraft with MTOW > 16T; OR
-
3,000 total flight hours, including 1,000 hours as PIC on aircraft with MTOW > 16T.
Recruitment Process
SAS reviews applications continuously and may close the posting at short notice. The selection process consists of:

Online recruiter interview.

Cognitive and personality assessments.

Assessment Day (group exercises, simulator session, and personal interview).

Final checks (background screening, security interview, and substance testing).
Successful candidates will be invited to assessments in spring/summer 2026, with employment commencing in summer/fall 2026. Previous applicants who were not invited to an assessment may reapply at any time; those who were unsuccessful at the assessment stage may reapply after 24 months.
