Vietjet Air is seeking experienced Captains for its A320/A321 fleet, based in Vietnam. This role offers an opportunity to join a dynamic airline operating a modern fleet in the Southeast Asian aviation market.

About the Role

Vietjet Air is actively recruiting qualified Captains with significant command experience on the A320/A321 aircraft for its Flight Operations Division. The successful candidates will be based in various hubs across Vietnam, including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, and Cam Ranh. This position entails operating modern aircraft and contributing to the airline's growth.

Requirements

• Minimum 4,000 total flight hours.
• Minimum 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) in multicrew operations.
• Minimum 500 hours PIC on the A320F (excluding PICUS hours).
• Valid CAAV ATPL license.
• Current A320F Type Rating.
• Certificate of Upset Recovery Training in Full Flight Simulator.
• Valid Instrument Rating and Aircraft Rating.
• Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• ICAO English Level 4 or higher.
• Last flight on A320F within 12 months of application.
• Maximum age of 60 years for male applicants and 55 years for female applicants.
• Letter of authentication from the Civil Aviation Authority of CPL/ATPL country of origin.
• Recommendation Letter or Release Letter from previous airlines.
• Criminal Record check within 6 months, notarized by the Vietnam embassy from the country of origin.
• No history of Accident/Incident within the past 5 years.
• Submission of the last 5 pages of the logbook.
• Passport with a minimum validity of 1 year.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Formulate flight plans.
• Conduct all pre-flight checks to ensure flight safety.
• Communicate with air traffic control for landing/take-off requests and flight plan reporting.
• Verify the proper functioning of cockpit instruments.
• Monitor weather conditions, aircraft position, and air traffic during flight.
• Request necessary changes to the flight plan.
• Collaborate with flight attendants to ensure passenger compliance with regulations.
• File flight trip reports and aircraft status reports before and after landing.
