Position Summary
Vantage Aviation is actively recruiting a highly skilled and safety-conscious Captain to operate the Hawker 900XP aircraft. This pivotal role demands the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, ensuring strict adherence to all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, company protocols, and a commitment to outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct flight operations with the utmost regard for safety and efficiency, fully complying with all FAA regulations and established company policies.
- Execute all pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight duties, including meticulous flight planning, comprehensive weather analysis, and thorough aircraft inspections.
- Ensure the aircraft is airworthy and appropriately equipped for every mission, managing fuel planning and critical weight/balance calculations.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with air traffic control and ground personnel throughout all flight operations.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date flight logs, operational reports, and all required records.
- Deliver exemplary service to passengers, prioritizing their comfort, safety, and discretion at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with co-pilots (if applicable), maintenance teams, and operations personnel to ensure seamless flight readiness.
- Maintain currency and proficiency in all required aircraft systems, regulatory knowledge, and operational procedures through continuous training and recurrent checks.
Working Conditions
- Frequent travel is expected, including overnight stays and international trips.
- Availability for on-call duty, including weekends and holidays, is required.
- Capability to lift and load baggage or equipment as necessary.
- Extended periods will be spent operating within the aircraft cockpit environment.

Requirements
- Certification: Possess a current FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (ATP).
- Medical: Hold a valid, current First Class Medical Certificate.
- Type Rating: A Type Rating in the Hawker 900XP is preferred, or a demonstrated willingness to obtain one through company-sponsored training.
- Minimum Flight Experience:
- 3,000 total flight hours.
- 1,500 hours as Pilot-In-Command (PIC).
- 1,000 hours in multi-engine turbine aircraft.
- Time in Type: 250 hours PIC in type is highly preferred.
- Operational Experience: Experience in Part 91 and/or Part 135 operations is preferred.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Demonstrate strong understanding of FAA regulations, airspace procedures, and aviation safety protocols.
- Travel Authorization: Possess a valid U.S. passport and the ability to travel internationally without any restrictions.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exhibit excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities.
- Professionalism: Maintain a strong customer service orientation and exercise discretion when interacting with high-net-worth individuals or during sensitive operations.
