Solairus Aviation is seeking a qualified Hawker 900XP Captain to join their team at KRDK airport near Owls Head, Maine. This full-time position is for a safety-conscious aviation professional dedicated to supporting client travel needs and upholding the company's values of safety, service, and integrity.
About the Role
The Hawker 900XP Captain is entrusted with the safe and prudent operation of the aircraft. Key responsibilities include meticulously reviewing aircraft maintenance status, conducting thorough pre-flight inspections per the Aircraft Flight Manual, and analyzing weather and route information for all relevant airports. The Captain will operate in strict adherence to Solairus Aviation policies, Federal Aviation Regulations, and will be responsible for the safety of passengers, crew, and the aircraft. Accurate completion of all trip paperwork is also a core duty.
Requirements
- Minimum 3,000 hours of total flight time.
- Minimum 1,500 hours of Pilot-In-Command (PIC) time.
- Minimum 1,500 hours of Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time.
- Minimum 500 hours of MEL PIC time.
- Minimum 500 hours of turbojet time.
- Minimum 250 hours of instrument time.
- Hawker 900XP type rating or a type rating on a comparable aircraft.
- Valid first-class medical certificate.
- Availability to work on an on-call basis.
- Completion of annual ICAO international procedures training.
- Must maintain a primary residence within a two-hour drive of KRKD or be willing to relocate.
