Position Summary: Hawker 900XP Pilot

Vantage Aviation is actively recruiting a highly skilled and safety-conscious Pilot to join our esteemed team, operating the Hawker 900XP aircraft. This critical role is responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the aircraft, adhering strictly to all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, company procedures, and upholding superior standards of customer service. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach, possess strong teamwork capabilities, and exhibit an unwavering commitment to operational excellence and professional conduct.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct safe and efficient flight operations in strict accordance with FAA regulations and company policies.
  • Execute all pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight duties, including meticulous flight planning, thorough weather analysis, and comprehensive aircraft inspections.
  • Verify aircraft airworthiness and ensure appropriate equipment for each mission, including precise fuel planning and weight/balance calculations.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with air traffic control and ground personnel throughout all flight phases.
  • Maintain accurate and complete flight logs, reports, and necessary records.
  • Deliver exceptional service to passengers, prioritizing their comfort, safety, and discretion at all times.
  • Collaborate closely with co-pilots (if applicable), maintenance teams, and operations personnel to ensure optimal flight readiness.
  • Maintain currency and qualification in all required aircraft systems, regulations, and procedures through continuous training and recurrent checks.

Working Conditions

  • Ability to travel frequently, including overnight stays and international assignments.
  • Availability for on-call duties, including weekends and holidays as operational demands require.
  • Capability to lift and load baggage or equipment as necessitated by operational needs.
  • Extended periods operating within the aircraft cockpit environment.

Requirements

  • FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (ATP).
  • Current First Class Medical Certificate.
  • Hawker 900XP Type Rating is preferred, or a demonstrated willingness to obtain it through company-sponsored training.
  • Minimum flight experience requirements:
    • 3,000 total flight hours.
    • 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).
    • 1,000 hours in multi-engine turbine aircraft.
    • 250 hours PIC time in type is highly preferred.
  • Experience in Part 91 and/or Part 135 operations is preferred.
  • Strong command of FAA regulations, airspace procedures, and established safety protocols.
  • Valid U.S. passport and unrestricted ability for international travel.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational proficiencies.
  • A robust customer service orientation and a high degree of discretion when interacting with high-net-worth individuals or managing sensitive operations.
  • This is not a home-based position; candidates must reside within a one-hour radius of KFCI or be willing to relocate.
