Candidate Requirements

  • Education: Minimum HSC or equivalent with a GPA of 3.00/5.00 or higher. No third division or equivalent is accepted. Diploma holders require a minimum CGPA of 2.80/4.00. O-Level (max 5 subjects with average grade 'D') and A-Level (max 2 subjects with average grade 'D') are accepted; GED is not recognized.
  • Physical Criteria:
    • Male: Minimum height of 168 cm (5 feet 6 inches).
    • Female: Minimum height of 161 cm (5 feet 3 inches).
    • Reach: Minimum arm reach of 212 cm while standing on tiptoes.
    • Weight: Must be proportionate to height with a BMI between 18 and 25.
    • Appearance: Strong, upright posture; no visible tattoos or marks.
  • Age: 18–27 years for freshers; up to 35 years for experienced cabin crew only.
  • Vision: Visual acuity of 6/6 without spectacles (correction to 6/6 is acceptable). Color blindness is not permitted.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in both written and spoken Bengali and English. Additional language competencies are an asset.
  • Swimming: Swimming skills are preferred; selected candidates must attain proficiency during initial training.
  • Residency: Must reside near Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (e.g., Nikunja, Uttara Sectors 1–14) post-joining.
  • Medical: Must be physically fit and medically qualified for cabin crew duties.

Core Responsibilities

  • Conducting pre-flight briefings and equipment checks.
  • Ensuring passenger safety, explaining emergency procedures, and managing cabin security.
  • Managing passenger boarding, seat assignments, and hand luggage stowage.
  • Delivering excellent in-flight service, including meal distribution and administrative documentation.
  • Providing first aid and managing emergency situations as required.
