Job Responsibilities

• Attending comprehensive pre-flight briefings to prepare for each journey.
• Warmly welcoming passengers aboard and efficiently directing them to their assigned seats.
• Conducting thorough pre-flight checks of all emergency equipment to ensure operational readiness.
• Clearly explaining and demonstrating essential safety procedures and equipment to passengers.
• Ensuring the secure storage of all hand luggage within the cabin.
• Verifying that all passenger seat belts are fastened and galleys are secured before take-off.
• Efficiently clearing and collecting meal trays from passengers.
• Distributing necessary documentation, such as landing cards, to passengers.
• Administering first aid when required.
• Effectively managing and responding to in-flight emergencies.

Candidate Requirements

US-Bangla Airlines invites applications from Bangladeshi citizens who meet the following criteria:

Educational Qualifications:

• A minimum of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or equivalent qualification is required, with a minimum GPA of 3.00 out of 5.00 in both SSC and HSC or equivalent examinations. No third division or equivalent results will be accepted in any examination.
• For Diploma Degree holders, a minimum CGPA of 2.80 out of 4.00 is necessary.
• For 'O' Level candidates, a maximum of 05 subjects with an average grade 'D' is acceptable. For 'A' Level candidates, a maximum of 02 subjects with an average grade 'D' is required. GED certification is not acceptable.

Candidates holding a Graduation Degree are preferred.

Physical Standards:

• Height:
  • Minimum height of 168 cm (5 feet 6 inches) for male candidates.
  • Minimum height of 161 cm (5 feet 3 inches) for female candidates.
  • An arm reach of 212 cm while standing on tiptoes is essential.
• Weight:
  • Weight must be proportionate to height.
  • For male candidates, a Body Mass Index (BMI) between 18 and 25 is required.
  • For female candidates, a BMI preferably between 18 and 22 is desired, although a BMI up to 25 may be accepted for exceptional candidates.
• Eyesight: Applicants must possess a visual acuity of 6/6 without spectacles. Vision correction up to 6/6 is acceptable. Candidates with color blindness will not be considered.
• Medical Fitness: Candidates must be in good physical health and medically fit to fulfill the demanding requirements of a Cabin Crew member.
• Physical Appearance: A strong, upright posture is expected, with no visible tattoos or marks on the body.

Age:

Fresher candidates: 18 to 27 years (as of the application deadline). Experienced Cabin Crew candidates: Max 35 years (only previous experience as a Cabin Crew will be considered). Affidavits will not be accepted for age verification.

Skills & Competencies:

• Language Proficiency: Fluency in both written and spoken Bengali and English is mandatory. Proficiency in other languages will be considered an added advantage.
• Swimming Skill: Candidates possessing swimming skills will be given preference. Finally selected candidates will be required to learn swimming during the initial training period if not already proficient.
• Attitude & Bearing: A positive and impressive attitude with an appealing personality is crucial.

Residency Requirement:

Upon joining, successful candidates must reside in areas adjacent to or around Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA), such as Nikunja or Uttara Model Town (Sector-01 to Sector-14).
