Tigerair Taiwan is actively recruiting for an experienced A320 Captain to join its operations based in Taiwan. As a prominent low-cost carrier, the airline offers scheduled flight services, and this role involves commanding the A320 family of aircraft.

About the Role

The A320 Captain will be responsible for operating the A320 family aircraft on scheduled services. Key duties include conducting thorough pre-flight checks, delivering effective crew briefings, ensuring strict adherence to all safety procedures and aviation regulations, and fulfilling all command responsibilities as Pilot in Command.

Requirements

• A valid ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot Licence) is mandatory.
• A minimum of 5,000 total jet flight hours is required.
• A minimum of 1,000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) on the A320 or similar jet aircraft, such as the B737 or MD80.
• A current Class 1 Medical Certificate is essential.
• ICAO English proficiency at Level 4 or above must be demonstrated.
• The latest Proficiency Check/Proficiency Training/Annual Line Check Report is necessary.
• References from the Chief Pilot (or equivalent) of the two most recent employers are required.
• A flight safety record issued by an official organization and the current airline is needed.
• Candidates must have no history of or convictions for substance abuse.
• Eligibility for license conversion with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) is a prerequisite.
• All claimed experience and qualifications must be substantiated with acceptable evidence and supporting documentation.
