The Corporate Pilot is responsible for managing all aircraft operations with paramount safety and efficiency, aligning with the company schedule and all applicable regulations. Key responsibilities include maintaining required pilot and medical certificates, completing essential flight training and proficiency checks, and ensuring the safety of passengers and company property. The pilot will determine flight feasibility, initiate necessary actions for flight operations, and assess deviations from planned routes when operating conditions require. Meticulous maintenance of aircraft flight documents and personal flight logs, adherence to Safety Management System (SMS) requirements, and the development of optimized flight plans, including route planning and fuel management, are critical. Thorough preflight checks of aircraft systems, engines, landing gear, and navigation equipment are mandatory, alongside compliance with international aviation laws. Coordination with maintenance teams for aircraft airworthiness and implementation of in-flight safety protocols, addressing passenger needs, and providing clear flight updates are integral to the role.
