Corporate Pilot Position – The Hershey Company
The Hershey Company seeks a highly skilled and experienced Pilot to join its aviation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of corporate aircraft, transporting company employees, clients, and guests.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections, meticulously review flight plans, and analyze prevailing weather conditions.
- Prepare the aircraft for flight, ensuring optimal operational readiness.
- Oversee aircraft servicing and promptly report any maintenance discrepancies.
- Execute flight duties as Pilot in Command or as directed by the Pilot in Command.
- Maintain all applicable publications and documentation.
- Uphold personal qualifications, including proficiency checks and ongoing training.
- Actively participate in, and potentially lead, additional departmental duties and projects.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3000 hours of total flight time.
- Minimum 1500 hours of turbojet flight time.
- Possession of an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate.
- Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to flexible, on-demand scheduling requirements.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Valid passport and driver's license.
- Ability to successfully clear a TSA background check.
- Willingness to undergo random alcohol and drug testing.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Proximity to the Hershey/Harrisburg area or willingness to relocate.
Preferred Experience:
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.
- Graduation from an accredited flight school.
- Formal flight training or military flight experience.
- Prior experience in corporate or charter aviation.
- International flight operations experience.
- Experience piloting Gulfstream 450 and/or Challenger 604 aircraft.
- An impeccable safety record, free from accidents or violations.
