Rotor Wing Flight Instructor

Description

Responsibilities :

+ Deliver academic ground instruction and simulator training to customers for visual and instrument flight.

+ Participate in development of flight/ground training courseware.

+ Responsible for following flight safety and practice area procedures

+ Compliance with applicable Aviation Authority requirements

+ May travel domestically or internationally as required by the customer

+ May work shifts outside of 8am-5pm schedule as required by the customer

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

+ Commercial Rotorcraft license

+ CFI/CFII

+ At least 2000 hours total time in helicopters

+ At least 750 hours as instructor pilot

+ No revocation of any pilot’s license by the FAA or regulatory agencies.

+ Microsoft Office proficient

Preferred Qualification

+ Additional languages

+ Bachelor’s degree

+ ATP-rotorcraft

+ NVG

+ 500 hours of instrument experience

+ High familiarity of Bell products

Skills/Competencies:

+ Ability to work autonomously

+ Customer focus

+ Able to communicate and instruct others
