Talon Air is seeking an experienced Captain for its Challenger 604 aircraft operation based in Farmingdale, New York. This full-time position offers attractive compensation and benefits within a dynamic Part 135 environment.

About the Role

Talon Air, a reputable Part 135 operator with over 25 years of experience and a fleet of over 40 aircraft, is looking for a Challenger 604 Captain. The role involves conducting domestic and international flight assignments under Parts 91 and 135, ensuring a high level of customer service, and maintaining professional crew coordination. Pilots are typically home-based and travel to aircraft for rotations. This position provides opportunities for fleet mobility, advancement to larger aircraft, and potential leadership roles.

Requirements

• Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with unrestricted privileges.
• Minimum 3,000 total flight hours.
• Minimum 1,000 hours of Multi-Engine Land (MEL) experience.
• Minimum 750 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) experience.
• Minimum 150 hours of instrument flight time.
• Possession of a valid FAA First Class Medical certificate.
• Valid passport.
• Working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Parts 135 and 91.
• Thorough understanding of FAA, ICAO, and other international flight operations regulations.
• Strong organizational skills and advanced multitasking abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Computer proficiency, including word processing, iPad use, email, and web-based applications.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• 500+ hours of Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Pilot in Command (PIC) experience is preferred.
• One year of Part 135 experience is preferred.
