About the Role:
This position, based in Zurich/Kloten, offers the opportunity to directly impact the future of SWISS' crew planning operations. As Management Cabin Crew Planner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the mid- and long-term cabin crew capacity by strategically balancing crew efficiency, satisfaction, and operational flexibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Working in a job-sharing model, you will:
- Spearhead the strategic and operational capacity planning for cabin crews, from long-term to mid-term planning horizons.
- Define and forecast the demand for cabin crew members for the coming years.
- Provide vital support to cabin planning in areas such as absence management and monthly crew rostering.
- Ensure full compliance of crew planning processes with all governmental, contractual, and company regulations.
- Be a champion for innovation by continuously developing crew planning processes that optimize the use of crew management systems.
- Utilize your analytical prowess to compile data-driven reports that inform strategic decision-making.
- Engage proactively with stakeholders, building trust and transparency to anticipate change and explore emerging business opportunities.
- Serve as Deputy Head of Cabin Crew Planning, representing 50% of the contractual agreement.
Your Profile:
- You possess a university degree in a relevant field such as Economics, Business Administration, or Aviation.
- Analytical thinking and conceptual skills are your strengths, enabling you to navigate complex situations with ease.
- A solid understanding of the airline industry, particularly flight operations, is highly advantageous.
- You excel at working holistically, always keeping an eye on the bigger picture and demonstrating strong economic awareness.
- Your work style is structured, autonomous, and diligent, with a strong sense of self-initiative and unwavering reliability.
- You thrive in collaborative environments, possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Presenting your findings in a clear and compelling manner is second nature to you, both orally and in writing.
- You are fluent in English, and proficiency in German is a strong asset.
