Junior First Officer Programme
SriLankan Airlines is seeking ambitious individuals to join its Junior First Officer Programme, offering a pathway to a rewarding aviation career. This opportunity allows aspiring pilots to train alongside experienced professionals, develop essential cockpit skills, and advance their careers. The programme is based in Sri Lanka.
Requirements

Possession of an ATPL issued by the CAASL.

A valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.

A minimum of 3000 hours total flying time.

A minimum of 500 hours on Turbine/Jet Aircraft.

Exposure to information technology.

Fluency in English.

Good inter-personal skills.

Ability to support and sustain a positive work environment that fosters team performance.

Must be a Sri Lankan citizen.

Age not to exceed 45 years as of 21st September 2026.
Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Degree or a Master’s Degree from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission, Sri Lanka.
About the Role
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to undergo training at SriLankan Airlines’ Approved Training Organization (ATO). The cost of training will be recovered through salary deductions over a pre-agreed period, during which selected candidates will be bonded to the organization.
