While reporting to the Chief Pilot, you will be primarily responsible for operation of the company aircraft as assigned; Sonoco currently operates two Hawker 900XP aircraft. You are required to hold an appropriate FAA ATP license. You must be able to maintain a First Class Medical. Other ancillary responsibilities will be assigned by the chief pilot as needed. You will need to have excellent interpersonal and communications skills, be flexible and adaptable, and provide input while considering other points of view.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Conducts each flight in accordance with company policy and appropriate government regulations
  • Responsible for flight planning, pre-flight, and post-flight inspections
  • Ensures passenger’s safety, comfort and travel requirements
  • Keeps abreast of current changes and advances in the aviation fields that may affect operations
  • Participates in any training or retraining designated by the chief pilot or assistant chief pilot
  • Performs any other functions as required by the chief pilot or assistant chief pilot

This position is located in Hartsville, South Carolina.

We’d love to hear from you if:

  • Bachelor Degree or commensurate experience required
  • 4,000 hours flight time required, 1,000 hours turbine required
  • 5+ years of experience required
  • Airline Transport Pilot License (ATP)
  • Hawker experience/International experience strongly preferred

Compensation:

The annual base salary range for this role is from $108,525 to $130,230
