Global 5000 Captain
Solairus Aviation seeks a highly skilled and dedicated Global 5000 Captain to join its team, based in Oxford, CT (KOXC). The successful candidate will be a collaborative professional committed to excellence in all aspects of flight operations. He/she will contribute to a dedicated team focused on providing safe and expert travel solutions for clients, while upholding Solairus Aviation's core values of safety, service, and integrity. This is a full-time, non-remote position.
Essential Responsibilities/Duties:
- Ensuring the safe operation of the Global 5000 aircraft.
- Conducting flights in a safe and prudent manner, including but not limited to:
- Reviewing the aircraft's maintenance status.
- Performing thorough pre-flight inspections according to the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
- Conducting comprehensive checks of weather conditions and facilities along the planned route and at intended and alternate airports.
- Ensuring all flight operations adhere to Solairus Aviation's policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Prioritizing the safety of all passengers, crew, and the aircraft.
- Accurately completing all required trip paperwork according to current procedures.
Qualifications:
- Total flight time: 3000 hours
- Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time: 1500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time: 1500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land PIC time: 500 hours
- Turbo Jet time: 500 hours
- Instrument time: 250 hours
Specific Qualifications/Certifications:
- Type rating on the Global 5000 or comparable aircraft.
- Valid First Class Medical Certificate.
- Ability to work on an on-call basis.
- Completion of ICAO International procedures training annually.
- Primary residence within a 2-hour drive of KOXC, or willingness to relocate.
