Solairus Aviation is seeking an experienced Hawker 900XP Captain for a full-time position based at KRDK airport in Owls Head, Maine. This role requires a commitment to safety, service, and integrity, supporting client travel needs through expert aircraft operation.

About the Role

The Hawker 900XP Captain is responsible for the safe and prudent operation of the aircraft. Key duties include reviewing aircraft maintenance status, conducting thorough pre-flight inspections, assessing weather and facility conditions, ensuring compliance with company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations, safeguarding passengers, crew, and the aircraft, and meticulously completing all required trip paperwork.

Requirements

• Total flight time: 3000 hours
• Pilot in Command (PIC) time: 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time: 1500 hours
• MEL PIC time: 500 hours
• Time in Turbo Jet aircraft: 500 hours
• Instrument flight time: 250 hours
• Must be able to work on an on-call basis.
• Must be able to complete ICAO International procedures training annually.
• Primary residence must be within a 2-hour drive of KRDK, or the candidate must be willing to relocate.

Qualifications

• Type rating on the Hawker 900XP or a comparable aircraft.
• Possession of a first-class medical certificate.
