Solairus Aviation seeks a highly skilled and dedicated full-time Challenger 300 Captain to join their team at the KOPF airport. The Captain is responsible for the safe operation of the Challenger 300 aircraft. This includes conducting flights in a safe and prudent manner, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies. Responsibilities encompass reviewing aircraft maintenance status, performing thorough pre-flight inspections per the Aircraft Flight Manual, assessing weather conditions and facilities along the route and at destination and alternate airports, ensuring compliance with Solairus Aviation policies and Federal Aviation Regulations, prioritizing the safety of all passengers, aircraft and crew, and completing all trip paperwork accurately.

Minimum qualifications include a total flight time of 3000 hours, with 1500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC), 1500 hours Multi-Engine Land (MEL), 500 hours MEL PIC, 500 hours in Turbo Jet aircraft, and 250 hours of instrument time. The candidate must hold a type rating on the Challenger 300 or comparable aircraft, possess a current first-class medical certificate, be available for on-call work, complete ICAO International procedures training annually, and maintain a primary residence within a two-hour driving distance from KOPF, or be willing to relocate.

Compensation for this position ranges from $50,000 to $500,000, reflecting variations based on geographic location, experience, equipment type, job duties, training, and the assigned account.
