The primary responsibility of a SkyWest Charter Flight Attendant is to ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers on board. While no prior experience is required, successful candidates will be highly professional, possess a strong commitment to exceptional customer service, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
As a Flight Attendant, responsibilities will include:
- Safety First: Conducting pre-flight safety checks, operating emergency equipment, and providing clear and concise safety demonstrations to passengers.
- Seamless Service: Efficiently preparing and serving food and beverages, assisting passengers with carry-on luggage, and creating a welcoming and comfortable cabin environment.
- Exceptional Handling: Confidently handling a variety of in-flight situations, including passenger inquiries, medical emergencies, and security concerns, ensuring the safety and comfort of all on board.
Joining the SkyWest Team
To qualify for this exciting opportunity, candidates must:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Hold a valid U.S. or foreign passport with applicable visas for travel within North America and to international destinations as required.
- Demonstrate excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Be comfortable using electronic devices for in-flight operations.
- Be available to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Be comfortable with frequent travel and extended periods away from home.
- Reside within a 2-hour radius of a major airport.
- Successfully complete a 24-day training program.
Physical Requirements
- Height between 5'0" and 6'0" (without shoes) to ensure safe operation of aircraft equipment.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 45 pounds and maneuver a beverage cart weighing up to 250 pounds.
- Corrected vision no worse than 20/40 and normal or corrected hearing within 15-17kHz.
- Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with SkyWest Charter guidelines.
