Direct Entry Second Officer (Turboprop Experience)

The Second Officer will undergo a rigorous training program designed to instill the highest standards of flight proficiency. As the Pilot progresses, ample opportunities arise for advancement to Captain. Further skill development is available within Technical, Training, or Management tracks for qualified individuals.

Requirements:

  1. Possession of a valid Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) or Commercial Pilot Licence with Multi-Engine Aircraft Instrument Rating (CPL/MEIR) with frozen ATPL, or Multi Pilot Licence (MPL) recognized or validated by CAAS.
  2. A minimum of 1000 total flying hours as pilot of turboprop aircraft. (Candidates holding foreign pilot licences require a minimum of 100 PIC hours).
  3. Minimum GCE 'A' Level / IB / IGCSE or equivalent, Polytechnic Diploma or Degree. Alternatively, a minimum of 5 GCE 'O' Level credits (or equivalent) is required, including English, Mathematics, and a Science subject, obtained in one sitting.
  4. Ability to communicate fluently in English, with ICAO English Level 5 proficiency for inflight radio-telephony communications.
  5. Myopia must not exceed 800 degrees and astigmatism must not exceed 300 degrees per eye.
  6. Must possess a valid Class 1 Medical Certificate (recognized or validated by CAAS).
  7. Minimum height of 1.58m is required to carry out safety and emergency procedures on board.

Selection Process:

All interviews will be conducted in Singapore. The selection process includes online application, computer assessment, interview, simulator assessment, and medical check-up.

Training:

Where applicable, successful candidates will receive Aircraft Type Rating training. Eligible candidates may be considered for an accelerated training program.

Remuneration and Service Benefits:

Bond:
