Direct Entry Captain - Singapore Airlines

Responsibilities:
The Direct Entry Captain will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of commercial jet aircraft in international operations.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Possess a valid Class 1 Medical Certificate, recognized or validated by the Civil Aviation Authority Singapore (CAAS).
- Hold a valid Air Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL), recognized or validated by CAAS. Eligibility for foreign license validation can be checked via the CAAS website.
- Possess a minimum of 7000 flying hours, including 3000 Pilot In Command (PIC) hours on commercial jets in international operations.
- Demonstrate the ability to speak and understand English with ICAO English Level 5 or above for inflight radio-telephony communications.
- Meet the minimum height requirement of 1.58m to carry out safety and emergency procedures on board.
Selection Process:
The selection process includes, but is not limited to, online application, interviews, simulator assessment, and a medical check-up.

Successful candidates will be placed on either the B747, B787, or B737 fleet.
Training and Bond:
Where applicable, successful candidates will be trained to acquire an Aircraft Type Rating. A relevant training bond will be applicable.
