Direct Entry Captain

Singapore Airlines is seeking highly qualified and experienced individuals to join their team as Direct Entry Captains. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Key Requirements:

  • Must hold a valid Class 1 Medical Certificate, recognized or able to be validated by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS).
  • Must possess a valid Air Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL), recognized or able to be validated by CAAS. Candidates holding foreign licenses should verify their eligibility.
  • Must have a minimum of 7000 total flying hours, including 3000 Pilot In Command (PIC) hours on commercial jet aircraft in international operations.
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in spoken and written English with an ICAO English Level 5 or above for inflight radio-telephony communications.
  • Must meet a minimum height requirement of 1.62 meters to effectively carry out safety and emergency procedures onboard.

Selection Process:

The recruitment process includes, but is not limited to, online application, interviews, simulator assessment, and medical examination.

Remuneration and Service Benefits:

Successful candidates will receive an attractive compensation and benefits package, including:

  • A fixed annual salary comprising 13 months.
  • Profit-sharing bonus, contingent upon the company's financial performance.
  • Variable allowances for productivity, meals, and transportation.
  • 36 days of annual leave.
  • Travel benefits for the employee and eligible family members.

Successful candidates may be assigned to the B747, B787, or B737 fleet.

Training and Bond:

Where applicable, candidates will undergo aircraft type rating training. A training bond will be applicable in such cases.
