Direct Entry Second Officer

Pilots joining the team undergo a rigorous training program designed to ensure adherence to the highest flying standards. As individuals progress through the ranks, significant opportunities are available for advancement to Captain. Requirements:
- Holds a valid Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) or Commercial Pilot Licence with Multi-Engine Aircraft Instrument Rating (CPL/MEIR) with frozen ATPL, which must be recognized or able to be validated by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS).
- Possesses a minimum of 200 total flying hours as pilot of aeroplanes. Candidates holding foreign pilot licences require a minimum of 100 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours.
- Attained a minimum of GCE 'A' Level / IB / IGCSE or equivalent, Polytechnic Diploma, or Degree. Alternatively, candidates must have secured a minimum of 5 GCE 'O' Level credits (or its equivalent) in a single sitting, including English, Mathematics, and a Science subject.
- Demonstrates the ability to speak and understand English at ICAO English Level 5 or above for inflight radio-telephony communications.
- Has myopia not exceeding 800 degrees and astigmatism not exceeding 300 degrees per eye.
- Holds a valid Class 1 Medical Certificate, recognized or able to be validated by CAAS.
- Meets a minimum height requirement of 1.58m to perform safety and emergency procedures on board.
Selection Process:
All interviews are conducted in Singapore. The selection process involves multiple stages including online application, computer assessment tests, interviews with senior management, simulator assessment, and a medical check-up.
Training:
Where applicable, successful candidates receive training to acquire the necessary Aircraft Type Rating.
Remuneration and Service Benefits:
A monthly allowance is provided during the training phase. Upon appointment as a First Officer, incumbents receive an attractive salary package complemented by various allowances and benefits.
Bond:
Successful candidates are required to serve for the duration of the training period, followed by a commitment of 7 years from the date of appointment as First Officer.
