Direct Entry Second Officer
This is an exciting opportunity to embark on a fulfilling career as a Pilot with our esteemed organization. As a Second Officer, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of operating one of the most modern and fuel-efficient aircraft fleets in the sky.
The path to becoming a Second Officer is demanding and rewarding. You will undergo a rigorous training program designed to equip you with the highest flying standards and instill in you a commitment to safety. As you progress through the ranks, you will have ample opportunities for advancement to the role of Captain, and potentially, further career development in the Technical, Training, or Management tracks, subject to assessment and suitability.
Requirements:
- Possession of a valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) and Instrument Rating (IR) with a frozen Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL). The ATPL must be recognized or capable of being validated by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS).
- A minimum of 200 total flying hours as the pilot of aeroplanes. For candidates holding foreign pilot licenses, a minimum of 100 hours of Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours is required.
- Minimum educational qualifications: General Certificate of Education (GCE) 'A' Level, Polytechnic Diploma, or Degree, inclusive of GCE 'O' Level credits (or equivalent) in English, Mathematics, and one Science subject.
- Demonstrated ability to speak and understand English at a level equivalent to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) English Level 4.
- Maximum acceptable myopia of 600 degrees and astigmatism of 200 degrees per eye. This applies to both pre- and post-operative vision and must be correctable to 6/6 visual acuity or better.
- Possession of a valid Class 1 Medical Certificate (recognized or capable of being validated by CAAS).
