Silver Air is Seeking a Gulfstream GIV First Officer

Silver Air is currently seeking an experienced First Officer to join its esteemed team and operate the Gulfstream GIV aircraft. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, ensuring that all flights are conducted with the utmost safety and prudence. Responsibilities:

The First Officer will undertake the following duties:

  • Review the maintenance status of the aircraft to guarantee its airworthiness.
  • Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Complete meticulous checks of weather conditions and facilities along the intended route and at designated airports, including alternate landing sites.
  • Ensure that all flight operations adhere strictly to the policies and procedures of Silver Air and all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Maintain the safety and well-being of all passengers, aircraft, and crew members.
  • Accurately complete all required trip documentation in compliance with established Silver Air procedures.

Required Qualifications:

To excel in this role, the First Officer must possess the following qualifications:

  • Type Rating: GIV.
  • Total Flight Time: A minimum of 1500 hours in all aircraft.
  • Multi-Engine Time: A minimum of 1000 hours.
  • Total Turbine Time: 500 hours preferred.
  • Medical Certificate: A valid First Class Medical Certificate is mandatory.
  • Experience: Previous Part 135 experience is preferred but not required.
  • CANPASS Authorization: The ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted travel to and from Canada as a commercial pilot.
  • Customer Service Skills: Demonstrated strong customer service abilities with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must exhibit superior professionalism when communicating with employees and clients at all levels.
  • Attention to Detail: The candidate must be highly organized with a capacity to thrive in dynamic environments and adapt to frequently changing priorities.
  • Time Management Skills: The ability to work on an on-call basis, under pressure, and to successfully multi-task is essential. Flexibility in scheduling is required, including availability during nights, weekends, and holidays, as Silver Air operates on a 24/7 basis.
  • Teamwork: The successful candidate will be a strong team player, capable of providing valued contributions to Silver Air and its clientele.
