Our mission is to protect service members and civilians worldwide through the development of intelligent systems, including our AI pilot, Hivemind, which has successfully flown a range of aircraft. Job Responsibilities:

The Chief Test Pilot will serve as a subject matter expert, leading and overseeing all aspects of flight test campaigns. Key responsibilities include:

Designing comprehensive flight test strategies, encompassing design considerations, data acquisition, and tool selection.
Supervising the meticulous planning and execution of ground and flight tests, adhering to the highest industry standards.
Developing and enforcing standardized, safe flight test procedures to ensure operational excellence.
Providing critical operational insights and support to design teams, fostering seamless collaboration.
Focusing on Group 3 and 5 aircraft, uniquely modified for autonomous operations.

Qualifications:

Minimum ten (10) years of aviation experience.
Minimum 1,500 flight hours.
Active Secret Clearance.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills, demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.
Ability to work effectively at remote sites without direct supervision.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and similar productivity applications.
Successful completion of physical and training requirements for contract aircrew support, including an annual FAA Class II flight physical.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (Engineering/Technical degree preferred).
Graduation from a recognized test pilot school (e.g., U.S. Air Force Test Pilot School, U.S. Naval Test Pilot School, Empire Test Pilot School, EPNER Test Pilot School).
Current aircraft qualification and recent experience with mission systems testing, evaluation, and techniques.

Compensation:

$129,897 - $194,845 annually, plus bonus, benefits, and equity (for regular employees). Compensation for temporary employees will be hourly within this range, with temporary benefits provided after 60 days of employment. Interns, Military Fellows, and part-time employees are not eligible for bonus, benefits, or equity. International positions may include additional compensation elements such as international premiums and allowances. Specific compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
