Select Aviation College | Instructor

Instructor position for theory and flight training at Select Aviation College located at Drummondville Airport, Quebec (CSC3). The training will be in two portions. First, a theoretical part with the possibility of online teaching. The topics covered will be risk management, human factors, crew resource management and aircraft flight systems. The second portion will be a practical training done on an Alsim ALX simulator simulating on a twin-engine turbo-prop aircraft.

The students to be trained are at the end of the program leading to the CPL ME-IFR license and integrated ATPL.

One month contract starting as soon as possible and ending June 15. Goal of 50h of total ground instruction and 30h of simulators per pair for 25 students (360h of simulator).

The training has to be given in English.

Prerequisites:

- Hold an ATPL and aircraft endorsement that requires at least two crew members.

- Instructor qualification, an asset
- Be able to legally work in Quebec, Canada
- Be able to give the training in English

Note that the medical does not need to be valid.

Salary and conditions:

- Established program to follow
- Teaching material provided and ready to use
- Simulator hours, briefing and theory hours paid

- Hourly rate $70/hr (to be discussed depending on experience)

- Possibility of providing housing for the duration of the contract

- Possibility of a long-term agreement
