Assistant Chief Flight Instructor Airbus – SAS Scandinavia
SAS Scandinavia is currently seeking two qualified and motivated Assistant Chief Flight Instructors (ACFI) for the Airbus fleet to join the SAS Crew Training organization. This position is vital to maintaining the airline’s high training standards, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting operational continuity. The selected candidates will work closely with the Chief Flight Instructor (CFI) within a professional training management environment.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as a qualified instructor on the relevant Airbus aircraft type.

Provide comprehensive support to the CFI across all training and operational matters.

Assume the responsibilities of the Chief Flight Instructor during periods of absence, such as vacation or leave.

Maintain expert knowledge of all mandatory documentation, including OM-D, the ATO manual, and relevant training manuals.

Evaluate type-related training programs, including LIFUS, and propose continuous improvements.

Assist STOOL and MFTS with all relevant operational matters.

Participate in official meetings as directed by the NP Crew Training and Head of Training.
Candidate Requirements

Must be a qualified instructor on a SAS-relevant Airbus aircraft type.

Possess relevant instructional experience within an EASA ATO environment.

Demonstrate the ability to assume CFI responsibilities when required.

Fluent in English and one Scandinavian language.

Proficient in standard IT tools, including Microsoft Office.
