Cabin Crew Opportunity at STARLUX Airlines

STARLUX Airlines seeks highly motivated and service-oriented individuals to join its esteemed cabin crew. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing cabin safety duties, providing exceptional passenger service, and ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

This position offers a fixed-term training and employment agreement for three years, with contract renewal evaluated upon personal wishes and work performance. Cabin crew members will adhere to a work roster, which may include national holidays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

The home base for this position will be either Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) or Hanoi (HAN). Training will be conducted at the STARLUX Operation Center in Taoyuan, Taiwan.

Application Requirements:

• Nationality: Vietnamese
• Physical: Must have an arm reach of 210 cm on tiptoes for cabin safety duties.
• Education: Junior college graduate or above.
• Vision: Minimum of 0.1 uncorrected vision; corrected vision of over 1.0 (Taiwan standards). Candidates may use contact lenses.
• Language: Fluent in spoken and written English and Vietnamese. Proficiency in Mandarin or Taiwanese is advantageous.
• English Proficiency: Must provide transcript or certificate demonstrating one of the following:
  • TOEIC (Listening & Reading) 600
  • TOEFL ITP 480
  • TOEFL iBT 64
  • IELTS 4.5
  • BULATS 45
  • LINGUASKIL 145

  A recent English proficiency transcript/certificate is strongly advised, as a valid certificate is required at the onsite interview.

• Availability: Must be available for training in Taiwan during MAY-JUL 2025 (SGN Base) or AUG-OCT 2025 (SGN & HAN Base).
• Commute: Must be able to commute to Tan Son Nhat International Airport or Noibai International Airport within 90 minutes by public transportation.

• SGN Base: Applications accepted until January 16, 2025. Onsite interviews in Ho Chi Minh City.
• HAN Base: Applications accepted until January 23, 2025. Onsite interviews in Hanoi.
• Applicants should apply for only ONE base.

Application Method:

Both online and hardcopy applications are required:

1. Online: Visit the STARLUX career website for detailed instructions and to submit the online application. This includes uploading a self-introduction video (30 seconds each in English and Vietnamese, one minute total) via YouTube. The video should clearly show the applicant’s face and upper body.
2. Hard Copy: Submit application documents to ALSIMEXCO MTV. Please refer to their website for details.

Required Documents for Onsite Interview:

• Notarized ID card or passport.
• Notarized graduation certificate (or proof of enrollment/temporary certificate).
• English proficiency transcript or certificate.
• Signed Personal Data Use Agreement (form provided via invitation email).
• Original copies of all documents for verification (except the Personal Data Use Agreement, which will be retained). Failure to provide required documents may result in disqualification.

• Onsite interview and written test: January 18-19, 2025
• Physical examination: February 2025
• Pre-Job Briefing with ALSIMEXCO MTV: March 2025

Hanoi:

• Onsite interview and written test: February 22-23, 2025
• Physical examination: March 2025
• Pre-Job Briefing with ALSIMEXCO MTV: April 2025
