Key Requirements for A320 Captains

Prospective A320 Captains must meet the following essential criteria to be considered for this prestigious role:

• A valid ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License).
• A current First Class Medical Certificate.
• A minimum of 3,000 total flight hours.
• A minimum of 500 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) on the A320 type.
• Date of last flight preferably within the last six months, though some flexibility may be offered for exceptional candidates.
• Current Instrument Rating (IR) and License Proficiency (LP) on the A320 type.
