Pilot Selection Criteria

Prospective candidates for these esteemed Captain positions are required to meet the following stringent criteria:

• A minimum of 4,000 total flight hours.
• At least 2,000 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours on an A320 or equivalent jet aircraft (>30T MTOW).
• Possession of a valid ATPL (ICAO / EASA / FAA / GACA).
• For Type-Rated Captains, a valid A320 type rating is mandatory.
• Recent PIC experience, acquired within the last 8 months.
• English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 5; Level 4 may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Maximum age of 58 years at the time of application.
• A clean safety and criminal record is essential.

Specific Requirements for Non-Type Rated (NTR) Captains

NTR Captain applicants must additionally hold a valid jet Instrument Rating (IR) / Type Rating (TR) on an aircraft >30T MTOW and possess an ICAO license issued by approved countries. Further details will be provided during the application stage.

Assessment and Onboarding Process

The selection process involves a comprehensive simulator check, followed by HR and Flight Operations interviews. Assessments are typically conducted in Bahrain or other designated locations.
